I made a Twitter account a few hours ago but people can't find me through search. They've tried my username and my actual name both typed exactly right and no one else on twitter has my last name so they get no results. My account is verified so idk what could be wrong...

Check your setting to make sure you're not hidden and give it time for your user name to propagate through the system.
