Are you going to be Obama'd today in doing simply everyday things?

Putting any gas in your car, up 80%?
Going grocery shopping, a piece of fish is up 25%
Going to use the ATM machine, hows that $5 use fee feel?
Looking for a job today? How's that stack of 500 resumes on the interviewers desk looking to you?

Answer on Are you going to be Obama'd today in doing simply everyday things?

The increased prices we're paying for everything today are a result of the accumulation of years of monetary and social policy decisions. Those decisions, however evil, can not accurately be blamed on just one man - no matter how much he believes in them, and though he be a man of considerable influence.

Obama is, without a doubt, partially to blame for our current situation. I'm furious about the policies of the Obama administration. But I refuse to use the President as a scapegoat for the problems he did not create, like the US Federal Reserve Bank (Nelson Aldrich, JP Morgan and friends), Welfare (FDR), Social Security (FDR again), the FDIC (FDR yet again), or the repeal of the gold standard (Dick Nixon).

How do I get my dad to get me some games?

I don't mean video games. I mean like group things that people used to have fun playing with. I want to get tarot cards, I like to scare people with the fear of the future. I also want to get a ouji board, to communicate and such. I want to test my theories on the board to see if its just our psychology or if it really works. How can I get my very christian and anti-wiccan dad to get these for me? I have no idea where in the small town of yuma I can get these. I used to use these games as a part of my beloved childhood(I'm a teenager, but I say it is past childhood).

Answer on How do I get my dad to get me some games?

Well, first off, these are not Wiccan games.... they aren't even part of Wicca (unless a Wiccan just happens to feel like doing them). They both pre-date Wicca.

I don't know that you are ever going to change his mind, though. He obviously doesn't think their games, he believes they are a real threat.

This is his faith, which you admit is important to him-- is playing games with these things so important that you have to bug your dad to violate his conscience?
